Engine

This new CUV gets two engine options, one is the 1.0-litre Booster-jet turbo-petrol engine, which was used in the Baleno RS, this engine produces 100bhp and 147Nm and it is mated with a five-speed manual or a six-speed torque converter automatic. The second engine option is the common engine shared by other Maruti models, a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 90 bhp and 113Nm, paired with a five-speed manual or five-speed AMT transmission.

Exterior

The Fronx, Maruti Suzuki's latest offering, flaunts a design that draws inspiration from various models in the brand's portfolio. Its front fascia looks similar to those on the Grand Vitara SUV with large hexagonal grille separated by a horizontal chrome bar, Fronx also gets chunkier bumpers and chrome accents.
