New Wagon-R 2022 Launched in Kochi at 6.31 Lakhs On-Road.

After it's Launch in 2019 and a dream run in the market Maruti Suzuki Wagon-R gets updated. The changes are mostly in the appearance front and also it gets a new engine option.New Wagon-R gets updated and more fuel efficient engines, 2 new colors, and a new ZXI+ Variant. Engine Updates
Due to the strict emission norms, Maruti has updated both 1.0 litre and 1.2 litre engine, 1.0 litre engine is borrowed from the New Celerio and 1.2 litre engine is from Swift, Dzire. 1.0 litre produces 66bhp/89Nm while the 1.2 litre produces 81bhp/113Nm. Both engines feature Dual Jet, Dual VVT options and it increases the fuel efficiency of the Wagon-R to 25.19 and 24.43 kmpl respectively.

Exterior and Looks

In addition to the facelift Wagon-R also gets new dual-tone colors, gallant red with black and magma grey with black. Also a 14 inch alloy wheel has introduced in the top variant segment ZXI+ which are the notable changes in the new Wagon-R

Interior

The interior more or less remains the same except for a slight variation of beige is there in the dual-tone black and beige interior. The dimensions are also unchanged.

With the new changes being mostly on the looks of the car, Wagon-R is also planning to extend it's competition to the more hatchbacks segments as well.
