New 2022 Maruti Suzuki Baleno is Here

Maruti Suzuki India has set the date for the launch of the new 2022 Baleno. Production of the Baleno has already been going on and has released pictures from the plant by MSIL.

Baleno has been a massive hit in the industry, always featuring top positions in sales rankings. Maruti's only offering in the premium hatchback segment, competes against Volkswagen Polo, Hyundai i20, Tata Altroz and Honda Jazz, Baleno outperformed everyone of its competitors and already past the million unit mark. New Baleno Looks

From the limited peeks we got of the New Baleno, the design has been totally redefined, it is more sharp and has a wider look than the current design. L-shaped projector headlamp integrated with LED DRLs, LED tail lamps, a flatter hood, and redesigned grille are the notable design features of the new Baleno.

Baleno is also expected to get a redesigned dashboard, from the leaked images it gets bigger 9 inch infotainment system and the highlighted feature is the segment first head-up display.

Engine and Specifications

New Baleno will be available in 2 engine options 1.2L DualJet petrol and 1.2L Dual VVT petrol. which produces 82 bhp and 113 nm torque, while DualJet produces 89 bhp and 113 nm torque.

Safety

The New Baleno is part of Maruti's #SaferCarsForIndia drive, a initiative by Maruti to produce more safer cars. The new Baleno is expected to score highe ratings on the NCAP safety rating. Other safety features include ABS, EBD, Rear Parking Sensor in addition to the standard dual front airbags higher variants are expected to ger 6 airbags.

With the New Age Baleno, Maruti Suzuki has focused on developing a holistic solution that maximizes safety and convenience while also enhancing the ‘tech quotient’ of the vehicle. MSIL said in their official press release. Well we'll see how it fares on February 23rd, which is the expected launch date.
