The word "All New " has became cliche in automobile industry as every car launch is all new, it is one of the unwritten rules for naming new launches or even facelifts or additional variants, every car is all new. But the AL new Scorpio N is truly "All new" because it is built from ground-up with no carry over components from the existing Scorpion which will add classic to it's name and continues as another model in Mahindra's Portfolio. At first glance it truly ensembles "the big daddy" vibe, and it is certainly big. Engine

There are 2 engine options for Scorpio 2.0 turbo petrol and 2.2 diesel engines. Petrol engine produces 203 bhp and 370nm and 380nm torque in manual and automatic variants. Diesel engine produces 175 bhp and 370nm torque at peak. These are the same engine used in Thar and XUV700. All the engines comes with 6-speed manual and automatic gearbox for manual and automatic variants. Scorpio N comes with rear wheel drive and gets all wheel drive in higher diesel variant.

Exterior

The new look is really gives the tough SUV vibe while the from tells you that it is a Scorpio, the new grille with vertical chrome bars on either sides of the logo, new LED along with DRLs and fog lamp looks pretty similar to that of the recently launched XUV700. 18 inch chrome-lined wheels, with roof rails which is a Scorpio sign. The controversial back side which has some similarities with the some models. Dimension-wise it is a major leap from it's predecessor, new Scorpio N is 206m longer and 97mm wider but has shortened height by a significant 125mm and increased wheelbase by 70mm.

Interior

The interior of Scorpio N is significantly improved, with modern design and quality it stepped up it's game. Rich coffee-black leatherette upholstery, commanding seating position certainly elevates the sophistication. The touchscreen is an 8.0-inch unit with a row of helpful shortcut buttons and two rotary knobs below. two large cup holders, a bay that houses the wireless phone charger, and large door pockets offers enough storage space as well. You can opt for a captains seat or bench seat for the middle row, you get AC vents along with USB-C ports. All version comes with a 7 seat option except for the top Z8 variant which has 6 seat option.

Scorpio has six airbags, ESP, traction control system, hill-hold control, hill-descent control, tire pressure monitoring system, driver drowsiness detection system.
