Maruti Suzuki has officially launched its all-new midsize SUV, the Victoris, with introductory prices starting at ₹10.49 lakh and going up to ₹19.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings for the SUV have been open since September 3, 2025, and deliveries are set to commence soon. The Victoris is sold exclusively through Maruti Suzuki’s Arena dealerships and sits strategically between the Brezza and the Grand Vitara in the company’s SUV portfolio.

The Victoris marks an important milestone for Maruti as it becomes the brand’s first model to offer a Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) suite. This adds a new dimension to the driving experience and brings Maruti into direct competition with rivals such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, MG Astor, and Honda Elevate — all of which operate in the highly competitive midsize SUV segment.

Maruti Suzuki Victoris engine and gearbox options

Under the hood, the Victoris carries forward the tried and tested powertrain options from the Grand Vitara. Customers can choose between a 103hp 1.5-litre mild-hybrid petrol with either a 5-speed manual or 6-speed torque converter automatic, a 116hp 1.5-litre strong hybrid paired with an e-CVT gearbox, and an 89hp 1.5-litre petrol-CNG available with a 5-speed manual. For buyers seeking enhanced traction, Maruti offers an all-wheel-drive option with the top-spec mild-hybrid automatic variant.

Maruti Suzuki Victoris fuel efficiency

Fuel efficiency remains one of the Victoris’ key strengths. The strong hybrid variant delivers an ARAI-certified 28.56kpl, making it one of the most efficient SUVs in its class. The CNG variant returns 27.02km/kg, while the mild-hybrid versions offer up to 21.18kpl for the manual, 21.06kpl for the automatic, and 19.07kpl for the AWD-equipped automatic variant.

The SUV also offers a panoramic sunroof, LED lighting all around, and 17-inch alloy wheels on the higher trims, enhancing its road presence and appeal.

Maruti Suzuki has also introduced a subscription plan for the Victoris, with monthly rentals starting at ₹27,707. This plan includes the cost of the vehicle, registration, insurance, maintenance, and roadside assistance, offering a hassle-free ownership experience.

With competitive introductory pricing, strong hybrid and CNG options, segment-first Level 2 ADAS, and a five-star safety rating, the Victoris is positioned as one of Maruti’s most sophisticated products yet.
