Alongside, the 6-seat layout—previously reserved for the top-spec trim—is now available on more affordable variants such as HTK+ and HTK+(O), broadening the Carens Clavis’ family-friendly portfolio.

Kia Carens Clavis HTX(O): What’s New
The new HTX(O) trim makes the BOSE Premium 8-speaker sound system more accessible — previously exclusive to the top-end HTX+. Other premium features carried over include:
- Selectable Drive Modes (Eco, Normal, Sport)
- Electronic Parking Brake with Auto Hold
- 17-inch Alloy Wheels
- Panoramic Sunroof
- LED Headlights
- Twin 12.25-inch Displays
- 360-degree Camera
- Ambient Lighting
Under the hood, the HTX(O) continues with the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine (160hp) mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT). Buyers can choose between 6- and 7-seat configurations, adding versatility to the premium variant.

Expanded 6-Seater Range
Until now, the captain-seat configuration for the second row was limited to the HTX+ trim. With this update, Kia has made the 6-seater layout available in HTK+, HTK+(O), and HTX(O) variants. The HTK+ trim offers the layout with both the turbo-petrol DCT and diesel-AT powertrains, while the HTK+(O) is available exclusively with the turbo-DCT setup.
This expansion responds to growing customer demand for a more flexible and premium family configuration, combining comfort with practicality.
Premium Experience and Safety
Inside, the Carens Clavis continues to offer a rich, connected cabin experience with:
- 26.62-inch Dual Panoramic Display Setup
- Ambient Lighting
- One-Touch Electric Tumble Seats (second row)
- Roof-mounted Air Vents for all rows
On the safety front, the Carens Clavis features six airbags, Level 2 ADAS with 20 autonomous safety functions, Hill-start Assist Control, Rear Occupant Alert, and Rollover Sensors, reinforcing Kia’s commitment to occupant protection.
A Stronger Lineup for a Broader Market
With the introduction of the HTX(O) and wider 6-seater availability, Kia has strengthened the Carens Clavis’ position in the premium family vehicle segment. This update bridges the gap between affordability and luxury, ensuring a more accessible path for buyers looking for a feature-rich MPV with flexibility and technology at its core.
